The Lancashire Rural Recovery Action Plan Support Unit is located within the Lancashire Economic Partnership in the Globe Centre, Accrington.

Directions from the South/Manchester/M66


Follow signs for the M65 (Burnley & Blackburn). Take the A56 which is a continuation of the M66. You will come to a large roundabout take the first exit on to the A680 signposted to Accrington. Continue on this road for approximately 3 miles. As you near the town centre you will see signs for the Globe Centre (the first one is by the Police/Fire Station). The Globe Centre is a large converted mill on Scaitcliffe Street. There is a large car park behind the building.


Directions from the West/Preston/Blackburn


Leave the M65 at junction 7. Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout. Follow signs for Accrington town centre. Take the dual carriageway to the traffic lights and then go straight across. At the third set of traffic lights (adjacent to Asda) turn right. Follow the signs to the Globe Centre. The Globe Centre is a large converted mill on Scaitcliffe Street. There is a large car park behind the building.

Accrington Bus Station is approximately a 6 minute walk from the Globe Centre and is served by frequent direct bus services from the following places:
