The Lancashire Rural Recovery Action Plan

Performance Plan 2006 to 2007

Since it began in April 2003, The Lancashire Rural Recovery Action Plan (LRRAP) has approved almost £10 million of grant aid for a variety of projects across the county which have created or safeguarded over 400 jobs and helped boost the quality of life and well-being of communities.


This year, the LRRAP has allocated £3 million for existing and new projects during 2006 to 2007.

Performance Plan 2005 to 2006

The LRRAP approved over £2 million for existing and new projects to spend during 2005 to 2006.


During this time the LRRAP achieved the following Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) targets to boost the rural economy:

The LRRAP approved £1.25 million for projects to spend during 2004 to 2005.
